Cape Town - At first glance you may be forgiven for thinking David Beckham was giving away his and Posh’s wedding outfits from their own big day... but not so.
The former footballer was just getting people’s attention in his latest bid to raise money for charity.
He and wife, Victoria Beckham, have decided to auction off the outfits they wore at Prince Harry’s recent wedding to support the victims of the Manchester bombing last year.
The 43-year-old announced the news on Instagram by holding up a sign that reads: “Own our wedding outfits and support a great cause”
In the accompanying caption the father-of-four explained that the proceeds would go to the families affected by the Manchester terror attacks last year.
“To support the incredible work of The We Love Manchester Emergency Fund and the families affected by the Manchester attack last year, @victoriabeckham and I have partnered with @omazeworld to give you the chance to own our wedding outfits.”
“Head over to omaze.com/beckham for details,” he finished while also sharing a video on his Instagram Stories to explain the auction further.
Victoria, of course, dazzled on the memorable day in an uber chic navy dress with split sleeves from her upcoming pre-spring/summer 2019 collection, Daily Mail reports, which she paired with red heels.
David meanwhile, looked super-suave in a Dior Homme charcoal grey morning suit, which he paired with a light grey double breasted waistcoat, white shirt and grey silk satin tie.
Over the years the sports star and the fashion designer have often donned matching outfits at important events, cementing their reputation as one of the world’s most fashionable couples.
