Reports: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce on hold

Cape Town – According to multiple online reports, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are putting their divorce on hold.

Us Weekly first reported that the divorce is off with a source telling the outlet: "They haven’t done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to."

The former couple filed for divorce in September 2015 following a heated altercation between Brad and eldest son Maddox aboard a private jet.

Meanwhile Entertainment Online reported that Brad and Angie have not put their divorce on hold but have merely slowed down the process.

A source told the outlet: "There’s a pause in the process because they both made children the priority, but nothing significant has changed in their relationship."

In a revealing interview with Vanity Fair in July, Angelina spoke of her current relationship with Brad. She said: "We care for each other and care about our family, and we are both working towards the same goal."

The actress/director opened up about her life since splitting from Brad revealing her and their six kids - Maddox, 16, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11 and 9-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - had just moved into an 11 000 square-foot mansion in LA’s Los Feliz neighbourhood.

In a tell-all interview with GQ magazine earlier this year, Brad took responsibility for the way things ended admitting that he started going to therapy and stopped drinking after the split, to become a better person for their kids.

He said: "I was boozing too much. It's just become a problem," adding, "I just started therapy. I love it, I love it. I went through two therapists to get to the right one."

Neither Brad or Angelina have commented on the reports.
