Cape Town – Riverdale fans, 'Bughead' shippers, your favourite couple has split.
An insider told E! News that Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse broke up "earlier this summer" and are no longer living together. They are "intentionally keeping their distance" from each other, the insider explained, but when they get back to filming the show they'll be on "much better terms".
The couple first sparked dating rumours after being seen kissing at Comic-Con 2017. Although they have called it quits after two years of dating; they were seen together at Comic-Con this past weekend where they participated in a Riverdale season four panel discussion.
Reinhart did, however, share a few funny pictures of Sprouse on her Instagram stories, reports Harper's BAZAAR, taking jabs at her co-star as she usually does.
She even posted an image of Sprouse and KJ Apa, joking, "Please don't put me between these two ever again."

It looks as though the two are still friends, but is there a chance they could reconcile and rekindle their romance?
"Right now, it's unclear where things stand, but it seems [like] they could be heading back in the direction of getting together," the insider told E! News.
