Save the date! GOT’s Kit Harington and Rose Leslie to wed in June

Cape Town – Game of Thrones co-stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie have set a date to tie the knot.

The couple – who played lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte on the popular series – are scheduled to get married on 23 June, reports BBC News.

According to the report, the date has been booked at the Huntly registration office in Aberdeenshire - where Rose’s father, councillor Seb Leslie, owns a castle in his West Garioch constituency.

Rumours of the couple’s engagement first spread in September 2017. They later formally announced it via a newspaper clipping in The Times.

Speaking about how he proposed on The Jonathan Ross Show, Kit reveals he planned something nice but ended up popping the question the day before he wanted to.

“I was going to string up some lights in some trees and do all the romantic stuff but we were in the country and we were under this beautiful night sky and had a log fire burning and red wine and I blew my load early…”
