Shailene Woodley teams up with South African organisation while filming with Jodie Foster in Cape Town

Cape Town – In case you hadn’t heard, Shailene Woodley and Jodie Foster have hit SA shores as they complete shooting on their new film, Prisoner 760.

The film, which also stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Zachary Levi and Tahar Rahim, and is directed by Oscar-winner Kevin MacDonald, follows the true story of an innocent man who spent 14 years in Guantanamo Bay under the terrorism act shortly after 911.

It is based on the memoir Guantanamo Diary by Mohamedou Ould Slahi.

A Shailene Woodley fan page recently shared a picture of Mohamedou Ould Slahi with Shailene Woodley, Jodie Foster, Nancy Hollander.

While in SA, Big Little Lies star, Shailene Woodley, has also teamed up with local organisation, Ocean Impact, to ensure we keep our South African shores clean.

The 28-year-old recently took to Instagram writing, "I’ve learned a lot filming down here in South Africa. Currently, 5% of this country’s oceans are protected in Marine Protected Areas.

"This year they need another 5% to reach their goal of 10% protection by 2020. And then we tackle 30% by 2030," she said.
