Cape Town - Sia recently confirmed she’s become a mom after adopting a son.

The Australian singer opened up about her venture into motherhood in an interview with GQ magazine.

She also touched on her friendship with Diplo, admitting their relationship has often tended to veer off the platonic path.

"Much of our relationship is just being spent trying not to have sex so that we wouldn’t ruin our business relationship because he’s super-duper hot," Sia explains.

But they might have a change of heart with Sia’s new outlook on love and relationships.

The 45-year-old Chandelier hitmaker is committed to staying single and only wants to have "no-strings sex", writes Marie Claire.

"This year I wrote him a text and I said, 'Hey, listen, you’re like one of five people that I’m sexually attracted to,'" she says candidly.

"And now that I’ve decided to be single for the rest of my life and I just adopted a son, I don’t have time for a relationship. If you’re interested in some no-strings sex, then hit me up'."

They’ve created music together for years and have proven their chemistry is undeniable.

Last year Sia tweeted her hopes of adopting the 16-year-old rapper featured in the documentary Foster. The documentary looks into the foster care system experiences of children and caregivers in Los Angeles County.

"Hey dasani from 'FOSTER' on @HBO! I’d like to adopt you we’re just trying to find you and get my house check done etc. but I want you to know you will have a home with me," she wrote.

She might have been publicly moved by his story, but Sia is tight-lipped on whether Dasani is indeed the boy she adopted.
