Los Angeles - Sinead O'Connor's children and former partners are "dead" to her.

The Nothing Compares 2 U singer - who claimed on Facebook at the weekend that she had taken an overdose - slammed her offspring, sons Jake, 28, Shane, 11, and Yeshua, eight, and daughter, Roisin, 19, and their fathers in a new social media post in which she claimed they were not supportive towards her.

She wrote: "Jake, Roisin, Jr., frank, Donal, Eimear, I never wanna see you again.

"You stole my sons from me. Then you had hypocrisy to come to hospital and then not be here when I wake and not pick up phone? I'm shit to you.

"You're dead to me. You killed your mother. You stole my sons. You left me alone for twelve weeks! Why did I have to hear it was your hypocritical asses here while I was unconscious?? And now you're Gone and not picking up phone? You are child stealing murderers, I never want to see or hear from any of you again.

"Why were you here when you're the ones who put me here???? And where the fuck are you now??? Murderers. Liars. Hypocrites. All of you. You caused this.(sic)"

After slamming kids' fathers, she published another post pleading for her children and family to come visit her and explain themselves.

She said: "Please why are you doing these things to me?? I need you. I need your love. I can't manage what's being done to me...

"Jake, Roisin, everyone. Please. Come and tell me why this is all happening. Come and tell Me I'm loved. Come e and I'm wanted and cherished. Why did you leave before I woke?

"Please love me. Please come to the hospital and spend time with me and help Fix all this. Please. I'm. BEgging you. (sic)"

Police were called to Sinead's aid after she posted a worrying Facebook message on Sunday, and she was found safe and given medical attention.

In the post, the 48-year-old singer claimed she had checked into a hotel in Ireland under a different name and had overdosed.

She also told how she had been "howling, crying for weeks" and insisted she "doesn't matter a shred to anyone" and that her family wouldn't notice for weeks if she ended her life.
