Cape Town - A woman from Edinburgh in the UK has become the butt of jokes among her friends after they claimed to have spotted Donald Trump’s face on a photograph of her knee.
Pals of Jamie Lee Mitchell (21) noticed the uncanny resemblance when her best friend Sarah-Jayne McCall (21) took a picture of her before a girls’ night out.
Sarah-Jayne said nobody spotted the outline of the US president’s face when the picture was taken before Christmas last year, but she spotted it last week while scrolling through photo’s on her phone.
"Sarah-Jayne sent me the pic pointing it out and I just burst out laughing," says Jamie Lee. "I just thought: What the f**k?
"Nobody has ever mentioned it before but then again nobody was really looking for it either. Everyone had a laugh about it, but I was mortified."
Sarah-Jayne says she couldn’t stop laughing when she noticed the resemblance.
"I think it looks exactly like him. It was the only picture we took that night and I’m so glad I did. I think it’s hilarious," she says.
The snap got posted on social media and soon after Jamie Lee got a new nickname.
"It got posted on Facebook and all of a sudden I’ve got people calling me 'Jamie Knee'. I can see what they mean. I think it’s just the way the pic was taken though. It’s the combination of the angle and the lighting."
The girls say they don’t pay much attention to American politics but they personally quite like Trump.
"He’s not appeared in any photos we’ve taken since and there’s been quite a bit of banter about it, but it’s all good fun."
