Cape Town - The Beckhams are believed to have been among the thousands of tourists in Indonesia during Sunday’s deadly earthquake.
According to UK paper The Sun, David (43) and wife Victoria (44) were on holiday in Bali with their four children – Brooklyn (19), Romeo (15), Cruz (13) and Harper (7) – when the 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Lombok on 5 August.
The family, who reportedly arrived in Bali on Saturday, were about 80km away from the epicentre of the quake in Lombok, an island east of Bali.
"They certainly felt the earthquake," a source told the publication. "The children especially were a little bit shaken but they are all fine. Their thoughts are obviously with the victims."
Posh, Becks and their brood weren’t the only famous faces nearby when the quake rocked Lombok. Take That singer Gary Barlow and model Chrissy Teigen and family were also there on holiday, The Mirror reports.
Both stars took to Twitter to assure their fans they were safe.
The disaster has claimed 142 lives and injured hundreds more, reports TIME.
Thousands have been left homeless after the devastating quake flattened buildings in Lombok. Authorities expect the death toll to rise as rescuers dig through the rubble.
