The Duchess of Sussex will not be at bestie Priyanka Chopra’s wedding

Cape Town – Don’t expect to see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding.

While the couple are gearing up for a wedding weekend fit for royalty, their actual royal friends won’t be in attendance, multiple outlets have reported.

According to Entertainment Tonight Meghan is avoiding travelling as much as possible during her pregnancy.

A source said: “Meghan isn't trying to travel as much as she is pregnant. But Priyanka and Nick are extremely happy because their closest friends and family are in India to celebrate their marriage.”

This comes after Priyanka made the trip to London to watch her good friend say ‘I Do’ in St George’s Chapel on 19 May.

But despite Harry and Meghan’s no show, it’s almost definite that there will be no hard feelings between them.

Speaking of her friendship with the former Suits actress in an interview with Jenny McCarthy in May, Priyanka said: She's always been someone who's so just aware and interested in the world. I met her three or four years ago and that's what we bonded on - was how much we feel like we contribute to that as public people.”
