Cape Town - The pregnancy rumours have been following the couple since September last year.
But neither Kylie Jenner nor Travis Scott budged.
That is until late on Sunday night, South African time, when the youngest in the Kardashian/Jenner clan took to Instagram to announce the birth of her baby girl.
“I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions,” she started the post.
“I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose to not do in front of the world.”
The make-up mogul and her rapper beau welcomed a “beautiful and healthy baby girl” on 1 February.
The pair – who have been dating since April last year – went on to share a special video entitled, “To Our Daughter.”
So far, the heartwarming video has been watched more than 20 million times in less than 24 hours, proving just how stunned the reality star left the rest of the world with her announcement.
Kylie (20) and Travis (25) haven’t made many official appearances together since they started dating, but the special video gives a rare glimpse into their relationship.
Here’s how the 10-month romance unfolded:
April 2017
Cosmopolitan writes that the pair first sparked dating rumours after hanging out together at a Coachella party. But a source told People there's nothing serious going on between the two.
Later that month, Kylie and Travis are spotted together again, this time sitting courtside at an NBA playoff game in Houston.
An eyewitness tells People the pair “definitely looked like a couple cuddled up next to each other among her friends” and were “super hand-holdy”.
May
Kylie (sort of) makes things Instagram official, posting a group picture, which features the rapper.
She then jets off to Miami, to support her rumoured boyfriend when he performs at the Rolling Loud Festival.
June
The couple take to Snapchat to reveal their matching butterfly tattoos, Daily Mail reports. Each has a miniature wing on their ankle and, when put together, it makes a full butterfly.
Matching tattoos? Pretty big step, if you ask us!
Travis also later releases a track called, The Butterfly Effect.
August
Travis throws a lavish 20th birthday party for his girlfriend, which features a chocolate fountain, and an ice sculpture of Kylie’s famous derrière.
According to E! Entertainment, Travis also gives Kylie a diamond necklace and a full-string orchestra for her special day.
September
Rumours start circulating that Kylie is pregnant with Travis’ child.
TMZ reports the dark-haired beauty began sharing the news with friends and family in September and Page Six adds the couple are expecting a girl.
“The family has known for quite some time. She is REALLY excited and so is Travis!” a source quips.
Months follow but Kylie, Travis and the Kardashian/Jenner family remain tight-lipped about the pregnancy, playfully dodging questions by the media.
February 2018
Kylie takes to Instagram to confirm her rumoured pregnancy and announce the birth of her baby daughter, while Travis breaks the happy news on Twitter.
