The Kardashian clan announce the closure of their apps

Cape Town – The Kardashian/Jenner family are letting go of another piece of their brand as they prepare for the new year.

First came the announcement of the closure of all Dash stores in April. Then Kim confirmed that that her family’s iconic Christmas card tradition had come to an end.

And now, according to statement shared on Kim’s official app and website, she and sisters Khloé, Kourtney and Kylie Jenner will no longer be updating their personal pages in the new year.

“We've had an incredible experience connecting with all of you through our apps these past few years but have made the difficult decision to no longer continue updating in 2019. We truly hope you've enjoyed this journey as much as we have, and we look forward to what's ahead.”

Khloé and Kylie shared the same message on their respective apps and websites.

Kourtney added a personal message, asking her subscribers to follow her on social media to stay updated on her upcoming adventures.

“Thank you so much for being a part of this journey. Although my app is coming to an end, I am so excited to show you what's in store for 2019. Make sure to follow me on Instagram to stay updated. I look forward to keeping in touch!”

The four sisters are following in Kendall Jenner’s footsteps, as she announced the closure of her app and website around the same time in 2017, E! News reports.

Each of the family members’ apps provided never-before-seen photos and videos from their personal lives as well as from their respective business ventures.

Each app cost subscribers a total of $2.99 (R 42.76) per month.
