ICYMI: Cardi B’s baby is born and her name will make the Kardashians proud
And while the newborn’s name will certainly make the Kardashian’s proud, fans have been asking what influenced the chosen moniker.
In an interview on The Ellen Show in April, Cardi, 25, revealed that she and Offset, 26, had already decided on a name for the baby and that her rapper husband was the one who came up with it.
She said: “My dude named the baby. I really like the name. Imma let him say the name since he named the baby.”

Migos released a studio album titled Culture in January 2017, a year later they released Culture II.
Speaking about the title of the 2017 album, Offset told Fader at the time: “The new album title is about the culture of hip-hop music. It’s time to let the culture be known. It’s time to claim it.”
Following the birth announcement on Instagram, Cardi shared another photo of herself with the same floral backdrop with the caption: “Kulture...no better feeling”
