The Ballers star revealed in an Instagram video on Tuesday that Jazzy had been taken to the emergency room on Saturday night in Los Angeles.

“She’s okay now, thank God.”

“But I just want to say thank you to everybody who was involved – so caring, compassionate and responsive.

“The 911 operator who was on the phone with me was extremely calm, walking me through some processes.”

Dwayne also thanked the Los Angeles fire department responders and the medical team at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Health medical centre who took care of his little girl.

“Again, everybody, thank you, everybody so, so much.”

The Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle actor also took some time to give other parents advice on what to do if they find themselves is a similar situation.

“To all you mommies and daddies out there: I just highly recommend that you stay as calm and as focused as possible because our babies, they pick up what you send out – especially in times of stress.”
