Cape Town - A teen who lost his mother and sister in a car crash has received a heartwarming message from his mom’s favourite movie star.

Trevor Heitmann (18) – who had a YouTube channel called OG McSkillet that focused on gaming – was involved in a car accident that killed him, Aileen Pizarro (42) and her daughter Aryana (12) on 23 August, Metro reports.

The YouTuber allegedly intentionally drove his car into oncoming traffic.

Aileen’s devastated son Angelo (19), from California, posted a heartfelt message on Twitter to actor Dwayne Johnson, asking him to send him a special video.

“My beautiful mom who passed away loved @TheRock so so much,” Angelo wrote. “I’m trying to get him to do even a video saying her name for the funeral. If you could retweet the c*** outta this for him to see it that’d mean the world. Thank you!”

When the Fast & Furious star saw Angelo’s plea on Twitter he decided to record a touching message.

After seeing how happy this made the young man The Rock retweeted, saying: “It was the least I can do, this story is heartbreaking. Stay strong.”

Angelo then asked Twitter users if they could help get his sister’s favourite artist, Canadian singer Alessia Cara, to send a message – and she did!

Even South Africa’s former public protector, Professor Thuli Madonsela, shared a sweet message for the young man.
