There is a new beetle species that has been named after Leonardo DiCaprio

Cape Town – There is a new beetle species that has been named after one of Hollywood’s elite actors: Leonardo DiCaprio.

According to Daily Mail, Malaysian scientists decided to name a newly discovered type of water beetle after the UN ambassador.

The beetle is now known as Grouvellinus leonardodicaprioi.

In celebrating the honour, Leo has temporarily changed his Facebook profile picture to a photo of the beetle.
