Cape Town - The mystery of who bit Beyoncé at a party back in December has finally been solved!
According to Page Six, a number of sources have confirmed to the publication that actress Sanaa Lathan is the face-biting culprit.
The site reports the Love & Basketball star had been talking to Jay-Z at a D’Usse VIP party backstage when Queen Bey stepped in.
As Bey tried to solve the situation the actress then leaned in and “playfully bit her on the chin”.
After the news of Beyoncé getting bitten by an actress got out, the internet embarked on a search for the culprit under the hashtag #WhoBitBeyonce and Sanaa was mentioned among the suspects, but the actress denied it.
The news first broke when comedian and Girls Trip star Tiffany Haddish told GQ magazine how an actress bit Bey, without mentioning the actress’ name.
“There was this actress there that's just, like, doing the moistest. She bit Beyoncé in the face.
“So Beyoncé stormed away, went up to Jay-Z and was like, ‘Jay! Come here! This b****’ and snatched him. They went to the back of the room. I was like, ‘What just happened?’ And Beyoncé's friend walked up and was like, ‘Can you believe this b**** just bit Beyoncé?’” Tiffany said.
Another source confirmed to Page Six that Sanaa was indeed the actress who bit the Lemonade htimaker and that it was a big thing.
“It was a big thing in the moment at the party, everyone was talking about how anyone would dare to do that,” the source said.
Neither Sanaa nor Beyoncé have commented on the allegations.
