Cape Town - Something extremely odd is happening with Blake Lively’s Instagram!

Yesterday the Café Society actress’ fans discovered she’d deleted all her Instagram pictures and unfollowed everyone – including her husband Ryan Reynolds – which left everyone in a panic.

Although it’s not exactly clear what the social media detox means, a clue might be in her bio.

“What happened to Emily?” Blake’s bio reads.

But it gets weirder, not only did she unfollow her husband, she also started following people named Emily Nelson, reports Cosmopolitan.

According to Glamour, her dramatic Insta change has to do with a publicity stunt for the new movie, A Simple Favour.

The film, which also stars Pitch Perfect actress Anna Kendrick, is about the mysterious disappearance of a woman played by Blake and named Emily Nelson.

Before deleting all her pictures on Instagram, the blonde beauty posted a cryptic message to her more than 20 million followers with a picture of a game of hangman.

Some of the Emilys, who’ve recently been followed by the mom-of-two, took to social media to boast about their A-list follower.

“Does anyone want to tell me why Blake Lively followed me and had this as a bio, ‘Goodbye cruel world some hacker is anti-Emily, my time has come.’” posted one Instagram user.

Other fans suggested they’d change their Instagram handle to Emily Nelson just to be followed by the Gossip Girl star.
