Cape Town - The resemblance is uncanny – and we’re not the only ones who think so!

This Beyoncé doppelganger looks so much like the music superstar she actually gets chased down the street by screaming fans.

Brittany Williams, from Michigan, US, says she’s been ‘constantly’ snapped by excited fans and has even been chased down the road by a group of women who were desperate for a selfie.

“I get approached all the time – whether it be on planes, at the airport or while attending events,” Brittany told Daily Mail.

“I’ve also been chased, had pictures taken of me without my consent and pranks did without me knowing.”

“A group of women once chased me and my friend to our car and began singing Single Ladies, beating my friend’s car with the heels of their shoes until we rolled down the window and took a picture with them.”

According to The Sun, the production planner, who dressed as Beyoncé for Halloween, reveals that she’s been mistaken for Queen Bey since her Destiny’s Child days, but says their likeness is pure coincidence.

“It used to bother me a lot but not so much now. I struggle with people only calling me beautiful because of who I look like rather than thinking I’m beautiful because I’m me.

“I’ve learned to accept their opinions and be confident in my own skin.”

“Nothing prompted me to have this look. I was born exactly how you see me - except for the blonde hair,” she says

Just like the pop singer, Brittany loves singing and writing and claims they could even be related. “We both have southern roots. My parents and her parents look like they could be related,” she says.

“She sings, dances, writes and I am gifted in the same ways – we’re both strong dominant women, fearless, and God-fearing.”

While Bey has an army of stylists and makeup artists at her disposal, Brittany, who has more than 52 000 followers on Instagram, says she’s a minimalist and only dons makeup on weekends.

“I also use setting powder to control my oily skin from time to time. Nothing is daily. I tend not to wear makeup as I don’t care for the regime for going to work.

“I’m just a cool, stylish, smart, witty girl with a vision, confidence, and ambition.”
