Cape Town - After months of trying to figure out who bit Beyoncé, fans of the singer can finally take Tiffany Haddish’s hint as the final answer.

During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Girls Trip actress hinted that the BeyHive’s speculations of actress Sanaa Lathan being the culprit, could actually be right.

“I’m super-good friends with her stepmom and her dad, and they were mad at me,” Haddish told the author of the article named Lathan as the most speculated person to have bitten Beyoncé.

“They were like, ‘Why would you do this to the family? You know, black actresses, you guys have to stick together, it’s so hard for you guys to get work as it is, why would you try to ruin her career?’ But I didn’t try to ruin her career. I never said her name! I was just trying to say how Beyoncé kept me from going to jail that night. I coulda just shut my whole career down” she continued.

According to reports by Hollywood life, the BeyHive did not take too kindly to Haddish’s revelation and went on to attack Lathan on social media.

This follows after 46-year-old Lathan denied being the biter during an interview with Health magazine in May.

“I adore Beyoncé. I would never do anything malicious like that to her, or to anyone” she said in the interview.

“It’s so bizarre… It was crazy. I’ve been in this business for 20 years and have had so many rumours about me. They used to devastate me in my 20s, but in order to survive in this business, you just have to let it roll.”
