Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson tested positive for the coronavirus just last week – but their son, Chet Hanks, has confirmed they've returned home, "feeling a lot better" too!

"Quick update on my folks," he said in a video posted on Instagram on Monday. "They're out of the hospital, they're still self-quarantining, obviously, but they're feeling a lot better."

He sent prayers to anyone else who has been affected by the Covid-19 virus in any way, and asked that they remain calm and be "a little less selfish".

"If you went to the grocery store and hoarded all the water and toilet paper for yourself, I think you're the problem. Think more of others for once. I think if we all just be a little less selfish and a little more selfless, we're going to be completely fine."

The 29-year-old's video comes shortly after his dad posted an update from Down Under that showed him eating Australian staple, vegemite, on toast.

"Thanks to the Helpers," he wrote.

While Tom and Rita seem to be getting better, more celebrities have come forward, revealing they too have tested positive for the virus.

Olga Kurylenko, Idris Elba and Game of Thrones actor, Kristofer Hivju, all recently revealed they are self-quarantining after getting their results.
