Tristan Thompson has filed a libel lawsuit against a woman claiming he fathered her child.
Kimberly Alexander's claims first came to light last week when a gossip site shared screenshots of texts between Kimberly and Tristan, emails between her and her lawyer and paperwork alleging Tristan took a paternity test in January.
Hollywood lawyer, Marty Singer, who is representing the NBA star, confirmed Tristan had taken a paternity test, even though he was sure he wasn't the father, and it came back negative in a cease and desist letter threatening legal action if Kimberly doesn't "immediately stop defaming [Tristan and Khloé] with malicious defamatory lies and specious fabrications".
Kimberly claimed Tristan and Khloé falsified the results in a social media post.
Now, according to documents obtained by E! News, the attorney has filed a libel lawsuit on behalf of the 29-year-old demanding a jury trial against Alexander.
In the documents, obtained by the publication, the attorney states the defendant is a "wannabe social media influencer and pornographic model/performer who is so desperate to achieve her fifteen minutes of fame that she recently fabricated a false claim that NBA star/Cleveland Cavaliers center/power forward Thompson is the father of her nearly five-year-old son".
Further, he says: "Alexander has persisted in publicly proclaiming that Thompson is her child's father and she has maliciously accused Thompson of being a deadbeat dad, 'neglecting' and failing to take financial responsibility for the child since birth. Such statements are absolutely false and are defamatory per se. To quote Michael Jackson, 'The kid is not [his] son.'"
Though Khloé and Tristan broke up after a cheating scandal in 2019, the two have continued to co-parent two-year-old True, even self-isolating together amid the pandemic, according to Insider.
Tristan also has three-year-old son, Prince, with ex, Jordan Craig.
