Cape Town - According to E News, Tristan Thompson was all smiles when he boarded his basketball team’s plane for Indiana on Thursday. The athlete is allegedly leaving Khloé Kardashian and newborn baby True for Cleveland Cavaliers duty. But as he was benched on Wednesday, it’s unclear whether the 27-year-old will get any playing time in Friday’s game.

This is reportedly the first time he’s left Khloé and True’s sides since being accused of cheating.

Elle reports the alleged cheating hasn’t only caused his personal life to suffer – his basketball career has taken a hit too. This after Tristan was booed on court in his first appearance after the cheating scandal broke – with the Cleveland Cavaliers losing the game.

It has also been reported that he’s not playing because his notoriety has become a distraction to the rest of the team. He currently has no known injuries – maybe he thinks an away game will help his career?

Despite putting on a united front for True's birth announcement – Khloé gave True Tristan’s last name – sources say Khloé and Tristan's future remains in limbo.
