Tyga's car was repossessed while he was shopping for a new one

Los Angeles - Tyga's car has been repossessed - while he was out shopping for a new vehicle.

The Rack City hitmaker and his girlfriend Kylie Jenner drove to a Bentley dealership in Calabasas in his red Ferrari on Tuesday, but the couple were forced to get a lift home from a pal after the flashy vehicle was taken.

Sources told TMZ that a repo man had arrived with a spare key for the Ferrari, jumped in, started it up and drove off down the freeway.

Tyga had reportedly missed "a couple" of lease payments and the company who own the sports car didn't want to take any chances, so arranged to have the vehicle taken out of his possession.

This isn't the first time Tyga has ran into trouble for not keeping up with the repayments on his cars.

In April, it was revealed Choice Motor Credit (CMC) were trying to take back his 2013 Lamborghini Aventador as he owed them $357 350.77 for not making payments.

And CMC also repossessed his 2014 Bentley Mulsanne in February.

Though the firm sold the car, Tyga still owed them over $91k several months later.

Earlier this month, the Ayo hitmaker's former landlord, F&S Investment Properties, claimed he owed them $186 275 after he rented retail space for his Egypt Last Kings Clothing and allegedly trashed it.

The company's claim came shortly after Tyga reached a settlement with another former landlord.

He allegedly owed Gholamreza Rezai $480 285 in damages for his old rental home, which he vacated "sometime prior to" 31 October 2012, but has now settled the case after making a confidential agreement with the owner of his old home.
