Cape Town - Grace Raymond (48) has largely kept mum on claims her husband has passed on herpes to multiple people.
But when she was cornered by a TMZ reporter at Los Angeles International Airport, she only had one thing to say to the women who have accused the Let it Burn singer of giving them the sexually transmitted disease (STD).
“People are people, living our lives.”
When asked to elaborate she said, "That's it. Bye."
According to TMZ, Grace, who was holding her iPhone in her hand, appeared to be on a FaceTime video call with Usher himself when she responded to the reporter.
In July, Radar Online reported Usher had settled a $1,1 million (R15,9 million) lawsuit in 2012, after he allegedly infected a woman with herpes.
Court documents showed Usher was “exposed to herpes” in 2009 or 2010 and had unprotected sex with partners without telling them he had the STD.
Since then, other women have come forward to claim the R&B singer infected them with the disease.
Grace’s statement comes only two weeks after Laura Helm – who's suing Usher for $20 million (R290 million) – parted ways with her lawyer Lisa West and was on the fence about moving forward with the lawsuit, according to Daily Mail.
Another woman who is also suing the singer, claimed that while she didn't contract herpes from Usher, he exposed her to it.
