Cape Town - On 4 July 1999 the power couple said "I do". It’s been 20 years, and Victoria and David Beckham are still the most iconic duo in the entertainment industry, which is why we’ve compiled five reasons that make them the power-couple goals.
1. They aren’t just the ultimate power duo but successful business partners too
According to Fox News, the Beckhams have built an empire worth millions. From football-related revenue to lucrative endorsements and fashion, the two are on their way to becoming billionaires.
2. They are picture- and fashion-perfect
With the former Spice Girl, Victoria, leading a multi-million-dollar fashion empire, it comes as no surprise that the two are always dressed to the nines no matter the occasion.
3. Victoria’s many engagement rings – 14 to be exact
It’s said that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, and according to Entertainment Online Victoria has 14 engagement ring styles.
4. Matching ink
They have matching tattoos that read, "I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine" inked in Hebrew.
A couple of days ago, David also revealed a new tat on his Instagram which was the number 99 on his pinky finger. "99 was a good year for me," he captioned the post, possibly making reference to the year he tied the knot with his wife and welcomed their first child, Brooklyn.
5. They’re each other’s biggest cheerleaders
Whether Victoria is launching a new collection for her fashion line, or David is back on the field for a Manchester United reunion – they are always supporting each from the side-lines.
"So proud to see @davidbeckham back at Old Trafford today!! X He’s still got it!!!" Victoria wrote in a post ahead of David’s long-anticipated match.
He also revealed how proud he was of the mother of his children, while seated front row at one of her fashion shows. "So proud of another beautiful season ..."
