Cape Town - As one of the leading ladies in fashion Victoria Beckham is proving we can all learn to love ourselves just a bit more.
The 45-year-old spoke candidly in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, confessing she doesn’t think she’s beautiful.
The fashion designer also admitted it’s taken her years to come to terms with her looks and to accept her imperfections.
"Do I think of myself as beautiful? No, absolutely not. But I make the best of what I have," the mom of four revealed.
"I see my imperfections and flaws and I smile. It’s who I am and I’m not going to try to change that. It’s taken me a long, long time to recognise that by 45 years old, actually, I’m all right," the former Spice Girl said.
According to Metro, Victoria doesn’t allow negative thoughts to interfere with her daily life as she has a family to support and a business to run.
"I’m very lucky to have a job that doesn’t feel like a job; it’s my passion. So I love going to work. But with the kids, both myself and David [her former soccer star husband] are really hands on," she added.
