Cape Town – Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West recently shot a video in which they spoke about their ultra-modern, minimalist house, which Kim called her "dream home". But it was their kids that inspired the design of their mansion.

According to People, the Hidden Hills family home is valued at $60 million (R888 million).

Though the couple spoke about the contemporary Jean Royère chair and table in the living room and the all-white soaring hallway in their home, they also talked about the pool area that was inspired by their children.

"Kids are the inspiration for all our designs now moving forward," Kanye explained as North hilariously crashed the couple’s very official interview with Architectural Digest.

The couple shared a few candid moments as well, giving us a closer look into their relationship.

The video opened with Kim asking Kanye, "What habits did you change when we moved in together?" to which he responded, "I stopped being lonely." The two laughed with Kim joking, "My heart."

Later she also asked the Jesus is King rapper what his "most prized possession in the house" is.

"You," he responded. Kim quipped, "I was going to say that," before the two burst into cheesy laughter.
