Cape Town – Chance the Rapper celebrated Fourth of July by proposing to longtime girlfriend Kirsten Corley.
In a series of videos, shared on Instagram by The Shade Room, Chance can be seen going down on one knee and asking Kirsten to “make me a man and be my wife?”
The newly engaged couple share adorable 2-year-old daughter, Kenslie Bennett, who ran up to her parents after Chance proposed.

The rapper – whose real name is Chancelor Jonathan Bennett – confirmed the news on Twitter, saying: “She said yes”

Chance’s brother Taylor shared a photo of the happy couple on Instagram, congratulating them.

The couple began dating in 2013 and welcomed Kensli in September 2015. Chance and Kirsten separated in May 2016 with Kirsten filing court documents requesting to remain sole caretaker of the toddler as well as child support, People magazine reports.
The couple seemed to work things out as Kirsten withdrew her filing in January 2017.
