Cape Town - Every court case is important, especially if children are involved.

Grammy award winner John Legend (40) and his model wife, Chrissy Teigen (33), were recently in serious negotiations with their eldest child, 3-year-old Luna, in candy court – and by the looks of things little Luna is a very skilled negotiator.

Chrissy posted two cute videos on Instagram of how everything went down in court. Sitting across from her daughter and hubby, Chrissy begins the session with, "I now call to order the meeting of the candy. First off, Luna, I would like you to speak. Tell me about why you deserve the candy."

Luna, sitting next to her very entertained dad, explains in the most adorable voice, "I want the candy ’cos I want it and I like it." But that didn’t sway her stern mother who managed to make the toddler promise to stop screaming in her sleep.

When Luna repeated her mother’s words, promising to behave, the negotiations took a different turn. While mommy thought her child should have only one piece of candy, Luna wasn’t impressed. She responded by holding up three fingers. "I want three," she told her mom.

In the end, Chrissy settled on two pieces of candy for little Luna, who was more than happy to accept. Her proud father clapped in celebration and court was adjourned.
