WATCH: Dwayne Johnson sings three-year-old boy a song from his favourite character, Moana's Maui

Dwayne Johnson recently heard about three-year-old Aiden Snyder whose been through "many treatments, clinic sessions and hospitals visits" for an unspecified medical condition, so the actor tried lifting his spirits by singing a song from his favourite character, Maui, and his favourite movie, Moana.

"Aiden, I know you have no idea who I am, and you're like, 'Who is this big bald man with a big head?' Well, I want to introduce myself: My name is Dwayne Johnson. I'm also known as 'The Rock'. I'm also known as 'Daddy' to another little boy named Kevin Hart," he quipped on Instagram.

"I am also known as Maui," he said, breaking the news to the little boy that he voices his favourite character. He then went on to sing his song from the 2016 Disney film, You're Welcome.

In his caption the 47-year-old wrote amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis, "These are tough times we're in, but this boy's struggles and fight has a way of putting things into perspective for all of us."

The actor has been self-isolating at home with his family and doing what he can to teach his little ones about the pandemic.

He recently shared another video with his one-year-old daughter Tiana, in which he sings You're Welcome, changing the words slightly to teach her how to properly wash her hands.
