WATCH: Ellen DeGeneres donates $1m to high school affected by Hurricane Harvey

Cape Town – Ellen DeGeneres just out did herself in the gift department.

The show host teamed up with home improvement retail company Lowe’s to donate $1m to Rockport-Fulton High School to help them repair damage sustained from Hurricane Harvey.

In August 2017, Hurricane Harvey wrecked the beloved high school gym, leaving the students and athletes of small-town Rockport, Texas devastated.

During a recent episode of The Ellen Show the high school volley ball team shared just how much the gym meant to them as well how they overcame the hurricane.

Ellen then gave them the surprise of a lifetime.
