WATCH: Gayle King shares inside deets about Meghan’s star-studded baby shower

Cape Town – Gayle King has shared inside deets of the one event everyone wished they were invited to - Meghan’s baby shower.

The royal beauty spent a few days in New York and was celebrated by her close friends with a lavish baby shower, which was hosted by Serena Williams, Jessica Mulroney and her childhood friend Genevieve Hillis.

Days after the celebration, Gayle shared sweet details about the Duchess of Sussex’s special day during an episode of CBS This Morning.

The American TV personality first revealed “a good time was had by all” before sharing details about gifts and a special activity that all the guests were included in.

“She didn’t open any of the gifts because she wants to do that when she and Harry are back together…I got something that I think is very nice” Gayle responded when asked what she bought for Meghan.

While Gayle acknowledged that Meghan is a very private person and should have the choice of what she wants to share, she did mention one activity they all took part in, hoping the duchess wouldn’t mind.

“I hope she won’t mind me sharing this because I’ve never seen anything like this at a baby shower.

“They did flower decorations. They did flower arranging. They brought in somebody to explain how to arrange flowers. We all each made an individual vase.”

Gayle goes on to reveal that the flower arrangements were then donated to an organisation called Repeat Roses, at Meghan's request, that donates them to different charities.
