WATCH: It really is her party – Jennifer Lopez's birthday bash was as lavish as it looked

Cape Town – In a new video released on Jennifer Lopez’s official YouTube channel, the On The Floor singer recently shared just how lavish her 50th birthday was.

Gifted a R1.9 million 2019 Porsche 911 GTS by fiancé and former baseball player Alex Rodriguez, the Hustlers actress hopped into her new ride and made her way to her party at a private home on Star Island in Miami that belonged to Gloria Estefan, according to E! News

The star-studded birthday bash saw DJ Khaled, Ryan Seacrest and Fat Joe celebrate with JLo. Some even sang with the singer.

Performers from JLo’s It’s My Party tour paid tribute to the star, while daughter Emme sang the Theme From Mahogany by Diana Ross and her son, Max shared his rendition of Hamilton’s My Shot

A-Rod also delivered a touching speech for his bride-to-be. “You’re an inspiration, not only to billions of people around the world... Our children love you... I love you... Happy birthday,” he said.

A-Rod said he felt the pressure getting JLo the perfect gift and it was ironic too because the singer hasn’t driven in 25 years. That being said, a hot red Porsche will do it, and JLo loved it.

“You are one of a kind, my hurricane and my calm in the middle of the storm... thank you for being such a beautiful light in my life,” JLo gushed in a tribute post to A-Rod on his birthday.
