WATCH: This video of Jay-Z snatching a phone from a guest at Diddy’s party to protect Beyoncé has gone viral

Cape Town – Jay-Z and Beyoncé attended Diddy's 50th birthday bash this weekend – but no pictures and videos of their special appearance were taken without their consent. In fact, Jay-Z pretty much snatched a camera out of a fan's hands when he attempted to do just that.

A video of the incident went viral after the party on Saturday that shows Bey dancing to Bobby Brown's Every Little Step with Saweetie and Kelly Rowland. A man standing next to her was dancing too and videoing the festivities when the Family Feud hitmaker grabbed the phone from his hands.

Bey kept dancing.

A source told E! News, "The night was all about love for Diddy and that was apparent.

"It was a room full of a lot of old friends and legends who don't get to see or talk to each other all that often. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to come together for the occasion."

The insider didn't comment on the party though, and the Carters' have yet to comment on what happened. The internet did, however, share how they felt after seeing the video circulating online.

"Let Beyoncé enjoy herself damn," commented one user, while others poked fun at the whole situation.

"Ok, how many phones can you guys count, I'm at 6," said one user while another commented, "And the guy filming the guy filming Beyoncé was spared?"
