WATCH: Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra look loved-up at puja ceremony

Cape Town – Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra celebrated the first of many traditional ceremonies for their nuptials.

The couple stepped out in traditional Manish Malhotra designs on Wednesday for their puja ceremony, which, according to the Smithsonian Institute, is “the act of showing reverence to a god, a spirit, or another aspect of the divine through invocations, prayers, songs, and rituals.”

According to E! News the ceremony took place at Priyanka's mother, Madhu Chopra’s home in Mumbai.

Nick and Priyanka - who were photographed outside following the ceremony - were joined by Nick’s brother Joe and his fiancée Sophie Turner, the Hindustan Times reports.
