WATCH: Oprah and Gayle have a plan for if Gayle ever sleeps with Stedman and it's actually hilarious

Cape Town – Trust best friends, Oprah and Gayle to have an emergency plan for everything – even family drama.

The media moguls have a webseries together called The OG Chronicles in which they "respond to questions from readers, offer their time-tested advice and reveal fun tidbits about themselves in the process".

This week's episode was about family drama, more specifically about a family member "breaking the girlfriend code/sister code/family code".

Both Oprah and Gayle's initial reactions (and advice) to a reader's problem of secretly texting her sister's ex-boyfriend were: "What you doing that for!" and "Stop it!"

The situation then reminded Oprah of a conversation she and Gayle had years ago.

"This is interesting. Years ago, I think I'd been dating Stedman...I don't know. I've been dating him since 1775. So, we've been together a long time.

"But early on in our relationship, I was doing these shows [like] 'My sister slept with my sister's husband' or 'my sister slept with my boyfriend,' and all that," Oprah says pointing to Gayle.

Gayle then says: "If you ever catch me and Stedman, you know, boinking around, fooling around, you catch us in bed. She [Oprah] shouldn't even be mad at me, because she should say I've lost my mind."

Oprah adds: "Yeah. She goes, 'Call someone. Put me in the jacket and have be carried off because you will know that I have lost my mind'."
