WATCH: Prince William makes a stellar red carpet appearance at war documentary premiere

Cape Town - The Duke of Cambridge walked the red carpet looking dapper at the BFI London Film Festival on Tuesday night.

William was on the Southbank for the premiere of They Shall Not Grow Old, directed by Peter Jackson, the man behind the Lord Of The Rings trilogy.

The First World War film – which was co-commissioned by 14-18 NOW, the UK’s arts programme for the First World War centenary, as well as Imperial War Museums - uses previously unseen footage from the IWM archives, which has been colourised and converted to 3D, alongside BBC Archive audio to present the reality of The Great War as experienced by those on the frontline.
