Cape Town – Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's latest public display of affection is not safe for work – we're not sure it's safe at all really.
The couple who recently confirmed their status, took to Instagram to address the haters saying their kisses are awkward and their relationship is fake.
Shawn said in the video, "We saw, like, on Twitter and stuff, you guys saying stuff about the way we're kissing and how it looks weird, like we kiss like fish." "It really hurt our feelings," Camila comments.
The two have been rumoured to be dating for quite some time now, but when they released their steamy single and video for Senorita, fans were convinced. The two have been inseparable – holding hands on the street and passionately kissing in the waters in Miami. But clearly, fans still aren't convinced they're really a couple, considering all the comments about their PDA.
So Shawn looks at Camila in his latest Instagram post and says to his 51.4 million followers, "We just want to show you how we really kiss."
They go in for the kiss in what looks like it will be another hot and heavy display, but after seeing her tongue across his face – his mouth like a suction on her cheek – we're not sure if we just witnessed the couple kiss or devour one another.
