WATCH: Viola Davis’ purse was the most important thing at the SAG Awards

Cape Town – Viola Davis was so damn relatable at this year’s SAG Awards all because of the contents of her purse.

First of all here is a photo of Viola in her beautiful white Vivienne Westwood gown and her all too important purse.

Chatting to E! Red Carpet presenter, Giuliana Rancic, the Fences actress revealed what she keeps in her purse to get her through the night.

Here are the three very important things Viola keeps in her purse:

1. Foot-numbing spray to “numb the pain” from walking in heels all night.

2. Slippers for when the pain gets way too real.

3. Her “Samsung phone” for those all important selfies of the night.

The only thing missing - which the 51-year-old actress was very disappointed about - was her favourite sparkling wine, Prosecco.
