We've been saying Rihanna's name wrong the entire time

Cape Town – If you're a RiRi fan and talk about her a lot, then there's a good chance you've been saying her name wrong.

The Diamonds hitmaker is currently promoting her first Fenty collection and showed off some of her new pieces in a video for Vogue.

Upon introducing herself in the clip, Twitter-user @boopyape noticed that RiRi says her name differently to the way many people say it.

In response many users noted that it's mostly Americans who pronounce it "Re-Ah-Na," whereas the Barbadian singer appears to pronounce it " Re-Anna".

@boopyape then posted a poll in which people could vote for what they think is the correct way to pronounce her name – and after hearing Rihanna say it, there was a clear winner.
