Cape Town - It seems Chris Brown can never stay out of legal trouble.

This is after it was revealed by E! News that a woman named Cassandra has taken out a temporary restraining order against the Look at me Now hitmaker.

Chris has now been ordered to stay 100 yards (91.44m) from her after she claimed he was "stalking me" and was being "harassed."

In court documents, Cassandra alleges that the harassment "happens at different random times," adding that "he follows me and stalks me."

Cassandra confirmed that she and Chris met at a party where she alleges he hit her and since then has been stalking her.

The case will be heard in court on 3 July, where the judge will decide whether to extend the protective order against the singer.

In a statement, Chris’ lawyer, Mark Geragos, denied the allegations made against his client, insisting he has never met the woman.

"This is sad because it’s obviously the disjointed ranting of someone Chris doesn’t know, who has mental health issues. This just creates celebrity meet and greets with deranged fans, and perhaps the Court may want to engage their Mental Health Department."

It’s the second legal problem brought against Chris in the past month.

In May, an unnamed woman sued the singer after claiming she was raped during a party at his house on 23 February.

The woman is suing Breezy and several members of his entourage for sexual assault, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress among other charges, which amount to $17m (R212m).
