Cape Town – Music is usually used to warn a Hollywood star to finish up when giving a speech – but in a recent incident with Brad Pitt, this was not the case.
The A-list actor joined a few other celebs, including Diane Keaton, in appearing before the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors on Tuesday to ask for funding for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Each speaker was allocated a time limit to state their case, but Brad just had more to say, and while passionately speaking about architect Peter Zumthor, chairwoman Janice Hahn had to step in, Today reports.
"It brings me great pain to say wrap it up Mr Pitt… It kills me to say that but wrap it up!" Hahn said to the actor as he let out a guilty giggle.
Before continuing to state his case, Brad confessed: "We actors suffer from verbosity."
When the 55-year-old finally finished speaking, Hahn closed off saying: "We only do one take here, thank you so much for being here Mr. Pitt."
