Cape Town - Is Zayn Malik okay?
The British singer, who’s over the years often acted irrationally, shocked fans on Saturday when he apologised for being a "s**t person" in a now-deleted tweet.
But then the 26-year-old went on to reassure everyone he’s fine, saying that his post was just a "vent" and that he’s "currently happier".

The Pillowtalk singer then thanked his 28.2 million followers for their support, some of whom joked they were more confused than ever by his behaviour.
His initial tweet, which read: "I'd like [to] apologise for basically being a s**t person," raked in more than 14 000 retweets before he quickly deleted it.
It’s unclear what sparked the tweet, however it’s no secret that he and his former 1D bandmate Louis Tomlinson have issues.
Louis recently revealed on Dan Wootton's podcast how he and Zayn had kept in touch for a while following the band’s split but then things soured.
He said it "bugged him" that Zayn didn’t show up for his X-Factor performance in 2016, shortly after the death of his mother, Johannah Deakin.
"I had a couple of calls with him after I lost my mum, and all the boys had agreed to come to that performance, and he didn’t show, so that really bugged me.
"It was just seeing everyone there – Harry, Niall, and Liam – that was what I needed that night, that support.
"So on the other end of the spectrum, it kind of really showed. So, eh, I hope he’s alright, but..."
Zayn’s mental health is also said to be a factor in his on-off relationship with supermodel Gigi Hadid (23).
He’s spoken out about his ongoing struggle with anxiety which has caused him to cancel performances in the past.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in 2017 he revealed he’s learnt the best way to communicate his needs when struggling with anxiety is to be totally honest.
"Just being straight up. Just being honest about everything, explaining what it is that makes you feel uncomfortable, what it is that you’re cool with," he said.
