They celebrated their second wedding anniversary earlier this week on 19 May – and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex rang in the occasion in low-key fashion, choosing to exchange a couple of heartfelt gifts.
"Meghan designed Harry a card and handwrote a beautiful, sentimental message inside, expressing her love for him," a source told US Weekly.
"Harry surprised Meghan with a huge, stunning bouquet of roses and a ring, which she loves."
It’s hard to believe it’s been two years since their fairytale wedding at St George’s Chapel at Windsor in the UK.
So much has happened since then, and of course these days they’re settling into their new non-senior royal roles in Meghan’s native Los Angeles after their exit from the royal firm.
They’re currently staying in a luxury multi-million dollar mansion belonging to movie mogul Tyler Perry with their one-year-old son, Archie.
"They’re very content and happy to finally be all settled in," a source told Us Weekly."And of course, Meghan feels more at home too and she’s really starting to feel like herself again."
While most of the world was shocked when Harry and Meghan left the UK, Vanity Fair's Katie Nicholl says that had been their intention all along.
"I was told from a very early stage in their courtship that they’d told a friend of Harry’s they wanted to be international roving royals and that was going to be their focus," she told 9 Honey. "They had an agenda from the outset."
According to a source close to the couple, Harry is finding it a bit difficult adjusting to life in LA. "He doesn’t have friends in LA like Meghan, and he doesn't have a job."
"At the moment he's a bit rudderless, but it won't always be like this and he knows that."
