Cape Town - It’s been six weeks since the duke and duchess welcomed baby Archie, but the little one already has a jam-packed schedule.

Although Archie’s exact christening date hasn’t been officially released, the palace recently confirmed that Queen Elizabeth won’t be attending the religious naming ceremony due to prior commitments, Express reports.

But looking at the queen’s diary, there are two important events scheduled for the first week of July.

According to the Mirror, this suggests that baby Archie’s christening will be happening on one of these dates.

On 3 July, the queen will be hosting a garden party at her Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, her official residence in Scotland.

And on 9 July, Her Royal Highness will be visiting Cambridgeshire, which is some distance away from Windsor Palace.

Last year, the queen also missed the christening of Louis, the son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

According to Roya Nikkhah, royal correspondent for The Sunday Times, Harry and Meghan chose St George’s Chapel in Windsor castle for their baby’s christening, noting that Prince Harry’s christening took place there too in 1984, Harper’s Bazaar reports.

Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland will reportedly be flying to the UK for her grandson’s christening.
