Cape Town - Princess Charlotte has expressed her love for a certain food item – and it’s probably not what you think it would be!
The Duchess of Cambridge revealed the little royal’s favourite food during a visit to Lavender Primary School in north London, Mirror UK reports.
Kate visited the school last week to commemorate Children’s Mental Health Week in the UK – an important time of the year for Kate who’s the patron of the mental health awareness charity Place2Be, Hello! magazine reports.
"Charlotte loves olives," Kate told the pupils. And this isn’t the first time the mom of three has given insight into her daughter’s eating habits. Last year, the Duchess revealed the three-year-old’s love of pasta.
According to Kate, Princess Charlotte and her older brother, Prince George, are quite hands-on in the kitchen and enjoy helping their mom when cooking their favourite meals, reports the Express.
"She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her. They made cheesy pasta the other day. One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff. Food is important to her and she understands the links between mental health and physical exercise," chief executive of the Ivy Learning Trust Matthew Kleiner-Mann, who spoke to Kate during the visit, later said.
The pupils were asked to bring an item to school that makes them feel good, and the duchess joined in by bringing a special item of her own – a Christmas family photo which features husband Prince William and their three children.
