"Can earthquakes just not right now," Kat Dennings wrote on Twitter in the early hours of Wednesday morning when Los Angeles was hit by a 3.7 magnitude earthquake.
According to HELLO! Magazine, in the past ten days Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new hometown has seen two earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or higher. The publication says the quake wasn't strong enough to cause any structural damage – though Mayor Eric Garcetti said routine checks of the area would be carried out – as the earthquake was felt by many who are self-isolating at home amid the coronavirus pandemic.
With much of Hollywood staying within the area, many stars took to social media to comment.
Chrissy Teigen wrote on Twitter that she rarely feels the shaking but her house "sounds like it's gonna break and fall down the hill" before highlighting that the earthquake just so happened to hit on Earth Day.
You’re telling me the earthquake busted in mere minutes after it becoming earth day?? An icon

Mayor Garcetti later shared a few words about Earth Day amid the Covid-19 crisis.
"While we can't celebrate together this year, the clear sky and clean air during this crisis remind us we must emerge from this chapter with a future better than normal ever was," he wrote on Twitter.
Today marks the 50th anniversary of #EarthDay. While we can't celebrate together this year, the clear sky and clean air during this crisis remind us we must emerge from this chapter with a future better than normal ever was –– a sustainable future for our city and our world.
