Harry and Meghan have finally shared details about their new organisation.

"Before SussexRoyal came the idea of 'arche' — the Greek word meaning 'source of action,'" the couple shared on Monday. "We connected to this concept for the charitable organisation we hoped to build one day, and it became the inspiration for our son's name. To do something of meaning, to do something that matters. Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon."

According to Harper's BAZAAR, the couple hadn't planned to reveal their organisation but were prompted to do so when they filed a trademark application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on 10 March, and of course, word got out.

"Like you, our focus is on supporting efforts to tackle the global Covid-19 pandemic, but faced with this information coming to light, we felt compelled to share the story of how this came to be," Harry and Meghan said, according to People. They added, "We look forward to launching Archewell when the time is right."

Not much else is known about the organisation apart from the name, but the duke and duchess did tell The Telegraph the launch of the organisation, which will happen later on, is "to do something of meaning, to do something that matters".

The couple is currently settling into their new life in Los Angeles while social distancing as a family since stepping down as senior members of the royal family on 31 March.

For right now, while Archewell is in the works, the new mom and dad are focusing on just one thing: raising Archie.

An insider recently commented, "They are trying to make the best of it and are enjoying all the time together as a family."
