Cape Town - Princess Charlotte is preparing to start her first day of big school.
The young princess will be joining her big brother, Prince George, at Thomas’s Battersea in south west London on Thursday 5 September.
When Charlotte starts her first day and teacher’s call out her name, what will she officially be called though?
According to the Mirror, the princess, whose full name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, will be using her parents' title as her surname.
The four-year-old will most likely be called Charlotte Cambridge, just as her brother is reportedly referred to as George Cambridge.
The princess will reportedly have a busy schedule in her first week of school, Daily Express reports.
"In a rich language environment, children are encouraged to speak and listen in a range of situations; they communicate as they investigate and problem solve; they develop confidence and skills in expressing themselves and extend their social skills," the school's website stated.
"Teachers model rich language and encourage children to express their thoughts and ideas through conversation.
"Children also take part in a specialist-taught French lesson once a week where they are given a wonderful introduction to the language."
